Anheuser-Busch Providing Truckloads of Emergency Drinking Water in Support of Wildfire Relief Efforts
Anheuser-Busch is providing truckloads of emergency drinking water to support firefighters as they prepare for wildfire relief efforts.
Through their partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NFFC), the national association serving volunteer fire departments, Anheuser-Busch has committed to providing one million cans of emergency drinking water to volunteer fire departments in 2019 to provide critical hydration to those who are protecting their communities when they need it most.
The water will be sourced from Anheuser-Busch’s breweries in Fort Collins, CO, and Cartersville, GA, which periodically pause beer production to can drinking water to have ready to help communities in times of disaster.
Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing emergency drinking water and supplies for disaster relief efforts in partnership with the American Red Cross – dating back to 1906. Since 1988, Anheuser-Bush and their wholesale partners have provided more than 80 million cans of water to U.S. communities affected by natural disasters nationwide.
