The Bear Family Foundation, Inc. announced its 2019 financial contributions to the Northwest Florida community, totaling $2,793,500, given to forty local organizations and non-profits who work to help those in need. Donations were presented at the Foundation’s “Thanks a Million and More” Luncheon, held on December 13 at The Lewis Bear Company.
The Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart Ascension received a donation of $1,750,000 to support care for childhood cancers and the construction of an oncology unit. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida received a $500,000 donation and the Pace Center for Girls received a $300,000 donation to support their outreach in the community.
